Sigurwana Wildlife Reserve offers guests one-of-a-kind South Africa wilderness holiday accommodation, nestled at the heart of the 5,500ha Sigurwana Wildlife Reserve, in the shape of our Ystervark.

Yestervark was an incredible idea that we turned into a reality in 2017 and fondly  named it after the Afrikaans for porcupine. Ystervark is a creative structure built in the South African bush for the first time, providing a unique addition to our Lodge, Chalet and Luxury Safari Tent facilities.

Ystervark is the creation of an acclaimed architect and imaginatively combines the natural with the unusual in an ingenious interplay of light and form that blends effortlessly with the spectacular wilderness landscape that surrounds it. It gives ready access to one of the most diverse wildlife and botanical areas in the country, a sanctuary for indigenous fauna and flora, flourishing in their natural environment.

Our Ystervark wilderness holiday accommodation rates include:
